Glen and Diana Chavers

 

Married in 1979, Glen and Diana are proud parents to Shane and Annie and grandparents to sweet Lindsey. 

 

As dedicated followers of Christ, the couple have been actively involved in ministry for more than 30 years. They began teaching the youth group at Hill Baptist Church in Oak Grove, LA in the early 80's where Glen worked as an oil driller and lead his fellow shipmates in regular bible study. While there, Diana worked with the HBC and they both actively served in music ministry with Rev. Bob Sivils and The Good Folks.

 

After moving to Tennessee, the two taught an adult study twice a week for several years at Fairview's First Baptist Church where Glen also served as Chairman of Deacons.  Soon thereafter, Glen and Diana answered a call to help create a place where people could come and worship the Lord, in a relaxed atmosphere; without judgment. That place was Cross Roads Cowboy Church. 

 

Today, as an ordained leadership minister, Glen continues to worship the Lord in our praise band and together, he and Diana ride for the church's Iron Horse Ministry; a motorcycle ministry dedicated to sharing a message of hope and love through Jesus Christ.
